Download and fill out the
Participant Application.
If not currently submitted, a doctor or professional care giver will need to fill out the Physicians Statement included in the packet. The Preferred Ride Time Form will only be considered with the completion of the packet. When complete, the forms can be dropped off at the
Stable Hands office at:
1011 Fourth Street #3 in Yreka,
or scanned & emailed to us at:
info@stablehands.org
Please remember... only COMPLETE packets will be processed.
Once we receive the paperwork, a rider evaluation will be scheduled with a P.A.T.H Certified instructor to help us determine horse assignment and volunteer requirements for each lesson. A review of skills, goals, lesson dates & times is included at this meeting.
This is the step where we invoice participants and will expect either paid tuition or financial assistance to be in place. Participants are required to be squared up before riding.

Veterans who ride with Horses Helping Heroes ride free!
Participants are notified of their Ride Day & Time. Be sure to mark the calendar and check the Stable Hands website for events, and any weather or health related changes to the schedule. Review our barn rules and cancellation policies. Be sure to connect with your instructor or call the office at 530-842-3082 for any questions you might have at any time during the session. We are committed to making this a positive experience beneficial for both horses and participants!
