Lesson Cancellation
In the event of adverse conditions, Stable Hands may occasionally have to cancel lessons for the safety of our riders, horses, volunteers and staff. This may happen especially during the summer when temperatures are too high or when the air quality is compromised due to fire season. Alternate dates for cancelled lessons will be rescheduled and all riders and volunteers will be notified accordingly. Check daily for indicators below to determine if Lessons are Cancelled or Scheduled as normal. We will also try to post on Facebook to keep everyone updated on the ride status when conditions are unknown.

COVID-19
As we navigate current community health conditions, we will continue to be directed by facts and figures provided by the CDC and County officials. Therapeutic riding poses a mix of positive and negative risk factors: horseback riding is naturally socially distant but we continue to adhere to local health requirements with sincere diligence and care. Please review our COVID-19 Statement here & Please don't hesitate to contact Stable Hands with any questions or concerns.
On June 17, 2021 Cal/OSHA aligned workplace mask requirements with the CA Dept of Health. It states “ No face covering requirements outdoors (except during outbreaks) regardless of vaccination status, though workers should be trained for outdoor use of face coverings.”
